• The Russian language Add-On is available within the installation packages of ImmoTool 0.9.19.
• If you want to integrate the Russian language add-on into your existing project, save this XML file on your computer, click within ImmoTool’s main menu at Extras » Add-Ons » Import Add-On and select the downloaded XML file. After the Add-On was imported, you possibly need to activate it.

Where can I find the download?

On the upper right side of this website you can find a box with the latest version of OpenEstate-ImmoTool (e.g. ‘ImmoTool 0.9.18′). Click on that label to download the current version for your operating system. Alternatively you can click on the link » all files « to find a list of all available files for the current release.

Why did we change the procedure?

A mandatory registration can scare away new users – especially if a user just wants to test the provided software in advance.

Why should one register an user account anyway?

Nobody is forced to register a user account. But a voluntary registration brings some additional values:

• Get free and private support from the developers via ticket system – as an alternative to the publicly visible forums
• Access the translation database – to watch the progress of translation work or to join the translator team
• Access older releases of OpenEstate-ImmoTool (beginning with the first public version 0.9.0)
• Create a license key for OpenEstate-ImmoTool

We’re planning additional features for the future, that will be exclusively available for registered users.

Component for Joomla 1.5 was also updated

The new version 0.2.4 of the component can be used together with Joomla 1.6 / 1.7 / 2.5. The SEO-improvements have been backported into version 0.1.4, that can be used with Joomla 1.5.

• Compatibility with Joomla 2.5 (within v0.2.4)
• The selected language is written as META-tag ‘language’ into the generated page.
• The properties ‘title’ is written as TITLE-tag into the generated page within detailed view.
• The properties ‘short description’-text is written as META-tag ‘description’ into the generated page within detailed view.
• The properties ‘keywords’-text is written as META-tag ‘keywords’ into the generated page within detailed view.
• The general stylesheet (style.php) and the additional stylesheet ($AdditionalStylesheet) is written into the HEAD-area of the generated page.

How to update the component?

Within Joomla 1.5 you need to uninstall the currently installed component. Afterwards you can install the new version. Finally you need to reconfigure the component and all the menu entries, that make use of the component.

Within Joomla 2.5 / 1.7 / 1.6 you can use the auto update mechanism (via Extensions » Extension Manager » Update). Alternatively you can install the ZIP-package directly (via Extensions » Extension Manager » Install). There is no need to uninstall the previously installed component.

Improved english translations

The english translation texts within the application have been improved in cooperation with Mr. Sven Butterling.

OpenEstate-XML (beta) is temporarily disabled

Because of technical problems with the validation system, we’ve disabled the format OpenEstate-XML (beta) temporarily. We will enable the format as soon as the problem is fixed.

General problem with all CMS modules

If the visitor switches between different property pages, the predefined filters were not handled correctly. Instead of clearing the filter selection, it was permanently stored into the users session.

Further modifications at the Joomla module

• During an export is executed, the headline ‘error’ is shown to the visitor. This is a bit misleading, so we decided to change the headline into a ‘notice’.
• On certain server setups, a problem with URL rewriting may occur. We’ve made a small modification, that should fix that issue.
